Strategic Vision
Maintain service levels. As the IERR commenced operations in 2005 it was the our first task to convince existing customers on the line that rail service was going to be equal or better than before. Service levels to customers and rail traffic have been maintained. Since then IERR continues to be responsive to service coordination between customers, customer service and operations to assure the service delivered matches the needs of our customers. Our employees have been given broad responsibly and authority to proactively solve customer issues and drive improvements in communication, information, customers’ service, data entry and operations.
The primary point in the Strategic Vision for this Railroad is that it is viewed as a long term initiative. Time, effort and investments are currently being made, which will have long term ramifications for the railroad, its customers, and the community.
